Tanabata たなばた is celebrated in Japan every July July = shichi getsu しちげつ The origins of Tanabata date back thousands of years. Today, people in Japan still celebrate Tanabata and the coming together of Orihime おりひめ and Hikoboshi ひこぼし every July しちげつ.
